R&D Technical Team Leader
Miejsce pracy: woj. podlaskie

The role holder at this level uses expertise in software and solution development methods combined with management techniques to estimate, plan, and lead well-defined programmes of development work, to time, quality and budgetary targets; motivates and grows software and solution developers.

Responsibilities
  • People Management. Responsible for the day to day line management of the team. Provide regular and honest feedback to the team members. Increasing productivity and creating a learning organization focused on continuous improvement. Take and active role in hiring, retaining and releasing resources, training and coaching.
  • Stakeholder management. Ensure awareness, involvement and support from the key stakeholders and participants by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication on the project status throughout its life cycle.
  • Project team leading. Prepares a structured project definition and plan based on the requirements and ensures that all deliverables have clearly defined acceptance criteria. Ensures own and team skills profile meets the customer’s needs. Working closely with Project Managers and Product Owners to manage all duties assigned to the team for all the phases of the project. Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress. Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely.
  • Process Improvement. Suggests and implements proposals for process improvements within delivered R&D projects Innovation. Uses new technologies and methods actively to develop highly competitive products and applications
  • Knowledge sharing. Guides less experienced team members and recommends practice improvement. Maintains own skill profile up-to-date. Actively drives networking of development community.
Requirements
  • Very good People Management techniques including coaching and mentoring,
  • Very good Customer Relationship Management techniques and ability to use adequate communication in customer, colleagues etc. interaction verbally and in writing,
  • Past successful experience in people management or strong determination to succeed in people management
  • Ability to understand complex situations and activities and ability to communicate it to business people
  • Business experience in a software development environment,
  • Experience in working with projects and application services,
  • Experience in working with a dynamic environment and constantly changing circumstances,
  • Good experience in application operation or support,
  • Business driven approach,
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Proficiency in the English language (minimum B2)
